The Change of B2B Marketing In The Next 10 Years

In my point of view, there will be three key changes in the B2B marking in the future.

First is the organization change. I forecast the sales and marketing will integrate into one department. Like current in-bound and out-bound sales that hand in hand to support clients, in the future, sales and marketers are working as close as that. In that circumstance, the future B2B marketing communication content will be more customized and targeting considering the deeper engagement with clients. Under the same vision and goal, sales and marketing will be on the same page.

Another thought on future industry change is the better leverage of data. Explicit and implicit data will be fed into a predictive analytics engine that will score the prospect on relationships with clients. Under the technology improvements trend, it is possible to collect in time data likes location, social stream and devices, which will helps marketers predict the need and pre-solution to their key accounts. Also considering the accumulation on history data, marketers will be able to delivery the right messages at the right time.

Third changed will be that more touch points are available for the marketers to connect with the clients. The relationships between companies and clients will be ultimately enhanced. Marketers can add more touch points during different moments of truths through pushing messages and ad retargeting. It will be amazing to see in the future that B2B marketers are like the high-customized solution provider at any time when clients needed.
